There will always be those times in our lives when we think nothing seems to work out, even though you gave your best– the odds aren’t still on your side.

One day you woke up and felt as low-spirited  as you’ve ever been before. Like, nothing’s worth fighting for. Negativity overwhelmed your whole being.

What’re you gonna’ do then?

There are a grand amount of things you can do to have that giddiness of living back again.

And theses are just some of those. Ladies and Gentlemen, here are 10 short but great tips to keep you motivated!

Staying away from negative things is the first thing you should do, especially if you’re feeling down on the first place. As much as possible don’t be with people whom you know will just make you less than you already feel!

Don’t bring back painful memories, your failures nor regrets, it would not be of any help on your part or change what happened on your past. Just think of happy thoughts, it won’t hurt you.

The second one is simple, if you ever feel down. Alter your thoughts to something you’re in love to do– writing, sketching, dancing, singing, playing instruments, being with your loved ones or going together with people who’s humor’s never ending. In order to shift your mind and think about something else rather than sulking in the corner and being alone with you not-so-good-for-you thoughts.

I’ve mentioned above that in order to keep yourself motivated, the first thing to do is block all the negativity. But I know sometimes it can’t be help, for we don’t control everything that is happening and might happen on us. At seldom times, life’s like fooling us by getting us close to some situations we don’t want to indulge in.

One moment you’re all smiles with your friends then at just a snap if a hand, there’s something that will make you feel a downer and it’s really annoying right? Especially if you said to yourself for a hundred or maybe thousand times that, you’re okay and you will not be affected by negative stuffs ever again.

What you should do is– close your eyes, take a deep breath, empty your mind and just relax for a moment or if you have bigger relaxing time–

Everything’s alright– Constantly O-K-A-Y!

Even if you’re bombarded with problems and challenges. Sleepless nights because of the deadlines you must meet, a quiz tomorrow and you didn’t have the time to study yet, cause 24 hours is till not enough for all the tasks you must accomplish, an exam within this week and it seems like you don’t have a time to call a ‘break’ or even just a quick meet up with your bed– Life is still okay. Everything is alright.

Set your mind this way: Yes, this time is full of hardships and you really need to work hard, even push yourself to the limit. But it isn’t like this all your life, these are just obstacles you need to overcome and joyful times are waiting!

Time will come when you’ll look back on your days that made you tear up because of the mixed feelings of annoyance, anger,sadness and hopelessness– and just laugh and be happy that you all survived it.

Even if there’s seems to be no way, Someone’s making a way for you.

Being strong is not an infinity sign– there would breaks now and then.

And if your time of weakness comes, let yourself be. Cry and let it out.

It is also tiring to be strong just like of being weak.  Cry as much as you need to, until you feel a little at ease.

It doesn’t mean you’re a frail little human, you just need a break too. Being motivated is not just about thinking about being positive and strong. Crying helps too, see after you cry, wipe up those trails of tears and face everything again, now with a stronger and more motivated heart.

This one’s easy, as what the title implies. Find someone, something, anything that you want to be an inspiration– a dream of yours, your family, a person you look up to and basically anything. It is your choice.

This is really effective especially if your inspiration is someone or something you love or really into. Oftentimes you will find joy of waking up in the morning because of your inspiration.

Just like the inspiration, this one will also keep you motivated– a bigger push for sure!

Whenever you feel down think about your dreams and how you will achieve it if you just keep going, not being tired because every bit your doing now will either help you on your dreams or not if you will be a lazy, sulking individual with some small or even a little big problems and challenges.

Take those plans into action and go for your dreams!

With all those things around us, we tend to just focus our attention on them– making us intentionally or unintentionally ignore the things we have. When in fact, we have so much to be thankful, overflowing blessings that even that two jars up there aren’t enough container for all those we have.

Try listing every little good things– tangible and not– that happened in your life since you were born I bet you will need a great number of papers and ink.

Go on try and may you find yourself crying joyful tears!

Well not the specific thing that you’ll need to shout on top of a hill or in front of many people– not necessary. Especially if you don’t have the strength to do it.

The way I’m implying, is to write everything that is your weakness or negative sides on a paper, after that read it all and make a promise to do your best to remove it slowly– even one by one, out of your system. You can burn that paper after reading, if you want to. In order for the other people to not see or read it.

As what the title tells itself. I’m sure you know what is your strengths, if you’re still confused on what is your strength because you have many wonderful things you’re capable to do or the opposite. It is just okay. You will find yours! And when you found it nurture and develop it. Hold onto it, have the confidence and believe in yourself.

But not just focus on that strength find other things you can do and also make yourself good those things. Not just on one thing. Be competent. Just don’t pressure nor force yourself and still enjoy life!
